Somerset Wood Recycling is a not for profit organisation based in Weston-super-Mare. We started in November 2006 and our aim is to help long term unemployed people back into work through training and voluntary work.

We collect waste wood from the construction industry and other producers of wood waste and recycle it, helping reduce the amount of wood going to landfill. Somerset Wood Recycling offers a low-cost alternative to skips. We collect everything from pallets to chip board and wood with nails and screws.

We also salvage or buy more interesting and reusable types of wood or furniture – i.e., floorboards, joists, bookcases, firewood etc.
